Stick a fork in me, I'm done!  On Thursday, 13 May, I took my last flight in a USAF C-130 as pilot-in-command, flying into Fort Yukon and Indian Mountain, Alaska.  Pictured is Indian Mountain (PAIM) and me rolling out on final at Elmendorf AFB for my final landing, at least as an Air Force employee! A view from about 3 mile final, or so.  The pictures just don't do it justice.  The runway has about a 4% slope for the first 500-1000 feet, then increases to 12% before cresting on to the ramp area.

Beautiful place, but I wouldn't want to live here.

Downloading the mighty beast.  Minimums for the NDB approach coming into here are 2400/3 due to the terrain.

Rolling out on final to runway 06 at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska.  Seems almost life-like.  Almost.
